Starting today, MOS confirmation messages will be routed to firm bookkeeping systems upon receipt of the initial CME firm accept request. At present, a confirmation of the CME acceptance is received from the MOS, and the accept pending status (APN) changes to accepted status (ACC). Firms do not receive confirmations to their bookkeeping systems until transactions are in this final accepted status. Starting today, firms will instead receive confirmation messages once CME confirms change from pending status (PND) to accept pending status (APN). This will insure that firms can book all of their confirmations in a timely manner each day. The process by which confirmation records are routed through the clearing process will not change.
